J. Adam McGalliard received a BFA from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and a MFA from the New York Academy of Art, NYC. He instructed painting at the university level, and painted for internationally renowned artist, Jeff Koons.
McGalliard is a contemporary realist, focusing his paintings on scenes of everyday life. His earlier works, Hooded Guy and Souvenirs demonstrate his use of wider and freer brushwork, where his later works express a finer and more detailed form of painting.
McGalliard exhibited throughout the United States, in addition to an international show in Mexico City. His art belongs to both public and private collections worldwide.
