Free Indeed Outreach Ministry has been serving the Guilford County community since 2004 with the Free Indeed Food Pantry providing nonperishable foods, fresh produce, and meat to low-income families since 2014. Free Indeed partners with Second Harvest Food Bank, health educators, and other community programs. Each month they provide food assistance for over 250 individuals and offer other support to patrons such as demonstrations of proper food handling and food preparations, providing recipes and recipe kits, and sharing nutrition and health information. Free Indeed has transitioned some of their services to a client choice model and will expand this model in the coming year.
