New Beginnings, 2002
Tracey J. Marshall was born in London, England and grew up on a farm in Stokesdale, North Carolina. She attended Savannah College of Art and Design and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she received her BFA Degree. She owned and operated the Marshall Gallery in Greensboro, as well as Studio 207 at The Greensboro School of Creativity.
Marshall’s unique and vibrant artwork brings ordinary images to life. In New Beginnings, her expressive, free brush strokes create movement in a still life of plants and containers. Marshall uses a calm, cool color palette to stand behind her animated forms.
Marshall has been creating and selling original works of art for over 15 years, and has commissioned pieces for home and office. She has taught fine art to all ages while exploring her own avenues of creativity.
