From September 7-9, downtown Greensboro turned itself into a one big stage with more than 30 acts showcasing music, dance and storytelling from around the world.  Greensboro native and Grammy-award winning musician Rhiannon Giddens was the festival’s guest curator and performed several times throughout the weekend to overflow crowds.  A UNC-G study estimated that the outdoor festival could bring in as much as $14 million to the local economy. Weaver Foundation was proud to be a contributing partner and we look forward to seeing how the festival grows in the coming years.
