Justin Life earned his BFA in Painting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) in 2002. During his undergraduate studies at UNCG, he studied abroad at Winchester School of Art at Southampton University in England. In 2007, Life received an MFA from the Museum Program at Tufts University. He also teaches at the Boston Architecture Center. In 1988, the Weaver Foundation established two endowments, an athletic scholarship and travel fund, both awarding a one million dollar gift. The endowments were instituted during UNCG’s Second Century Capital Campaign. Life etched and gave Lewis Hines Steel Workers as a gift to Mike Weaver for founding the travel fund endowment for International Exchange Students at UNCG. Life’s studies abroad at UNCG were funded through Weaver’s gift. Life’s exhibitions include works at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts (SMFA), Boston; Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; and the Student Annual Exhibition, Grossman Gallery, SMFA.
